Colorado Gives Day

With as many as 25,000 people living with Parkinson’s in Colorado and Wyoming, and over one million in the US, we all have our own experience of living with or loving someone with Parkinson’s. Since 1981, Parkinson Association of the Rockies (PAR) has been and continues to be the first place for the Colorado and Wyoming Parkinson’s communities to turn to for care, support and resources.

Through your generous support of PAR, you are instrumental in helping us continue providing first-rate educational seminars and conferences and enabling those with Parkinson’s to attend exercise classes and support groups. Fostering these communities serves as a lifeline for those with PD and their Care Partners. You have the opportunity to help people continue to live their best lives in the face of a Parkinson’s diagnosis.

Your donation enables us to execute our goals and continue to offer all of our programs FREE of charge to the Colorado and Wyoming Parkinson’s communities. Make a donation anytime between now and Dec. 5 and your donation will be increased by the $1 million+ incentive fund.

Our goal this year is to reach $60,000.

Enrollment Counseling and Help Paying for Part D Premiums and Co-Pays

ENROLLMENT COUNSELING. Starting in 2024, many of the Prescription Drug Plans have changed their pricing, formularies, and network pharmacies. Many people find it easier to just "stay" with their current PDP plan, however, we suggest that you take a few minutes and review your current coverage. Counselors are available to help in English and Spanish to review your current plan and provide counseling on the right choice for you in 2024.

HELP WITH PAYING PART D PREMIUM AND CO-PAYS. If your monthly income is less than $1822 (couple, $2,465) and with resources of less than $16,600 (individual) and $33,240 (couple), you are eligible for help with paying your Part D premium and your co-pays. Enroll Now with the link below.

Veteran's Day with Clients

This Veteran's Day, Morgan had the honor of joining a previous client at his community to celebrate the occasion with a special program that he helped produce!

He initially reached out to see if Morgan had any connections with a Fife and Drum group in Colorado. She was pretty sure she could find a group with the ways of the internet today, but she ended up having a family connection to a Fife and Drum group! They were incredible and well received by the entire room of observers.

It was a very special occasion indeed. Morgan learned valuable history, met and thanked Veteran's who also lived in the community, and enjoyed spending the occasion in the company of great men and women who have served so bravely.

Are you or a Veteran looking for help? See if these resources are a fit!

Veteran's Day Weekend

A big THANK YOU from Maintain Me to all those who served and are currently protecting our country. We hope everyone enjoyed their Veteran's Day Weekend.
